Any Quality All In One DVD/Receiver Combos W/Progressive Scan?

I'm setting up a system in a small room (10x12) at my sister's house. They are true technophobes, so I'd like to keep things simple at the source end.

But I'd also like the sound to be of excellent quality. I thought of using the NAD L70 receiver/DVD combo, but it does not output progressive scan.

Does anyone know of any great sounding combo units? Or is that an oxymoron? Thanks.

PS- TV will be a 42" plasma screen, if that would matter.

I have been looking into the Onkyo DR-C500, but have yet to purchase it. So far it seems to be the best choice. I have only been looking for a couple weeks and haven't auditioned it yet. There are 2 from Sony, (Crutchfield has them) but I'm not much of a Sony guy.
