DirecWay Dish getting HD??

I have recently had a DirecWay high speed internet sattelite dish installed. The unit is one head that recieves my DirecTV signal and DirecWay high speed internet signal. I was wondering if this dish has the bandwidth capabilities to recieve the DirecTV HD signal. DirecTV's website says if you can see channel 99 then you dont have to purchase a new dish for getting HD signals, just the decoder box. I can see channel 99 so I am curious if I even have to purchase a seperate dish to get DirecTV HD?? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

It's not a bandwidth limitation, it's whether or not the extra LNB's have been added to the dish. The standard DirecWay/DirecTV install will have the dish pointed towards the DirecWay satellite and a extra DirecTV LNB bolted to the side of the DW LNB. I have seen pictures of the DW dish with 3 extra LNBs added. This gave the dish the ability to receive television programming from all three of DirecTV's satellites.

Not that simple. Does channel 99 show a blue DirecTV logo? That is the 110 test channel. Can you get channel 400? Is it in Spanish? That's the Para Tados barker channel on the 119 satellite. If you can get those, then all you need is an HD receiver.

thanks robert J. No all channel 99 and 400 are is advertisement channels for DirecTV services. So now I have to have two seperate dishes right to keep Direcway and have DirecTV HD correct?? This stinks.

No. I've see a picture of a DirecWay dish with a triple LNB attachment. I don't know where to get one but they must be available. Try one of the satellite forums like DBSForums.com.
