Its been a while since I have been to the forum. However, I am sad to report that its not good news that brings me back. My DVD player is acting up and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what may be the cause.
Its a 2 disk player and the problem is occuring when using either tray. As I play a DVD everything will appear normal for a while, then all of a sudden the picture will freeze as if I have paused the frame. Every so often it will start as a stutter, then become a freeze, but after a while it will always freeze completely. When it is frozen, I can not do anything at all. I can't stop, advance, back-track, etc.. in fact, the only way to clear it is to shut off the unit.
This has just started happening and I can't figure out why. Nothing has changed with the player i.e: location, settings, etc..
any help would be appreciated.
