Best $300 DVD Player (Has To Be Silver)

I know I sound like a girl, but it has to be silver. I would prefer a Sony because it is hooking into my 40XBR800 HDTV set. Anyone?

Sony DVP-NS725P ($150) is one choice. Progressive scan, etc. It's a single disk player.

They also have DVP-NC665P/S ($180). This is the 5-disk version.

Also look at Samsung DVD-HD931 which has DVI output which might be a nice thing since your set has a DVI input.

John, take a look at the Panasonic DVD-S55S for $130. It's a single-disc player with DVD-Audio. There is also the Panasonic DVD-F85 DVD-Audio changer for $150. Note that the 'F85 is available in black or silver, but Circuit City has the silver version. I haven't seen the 'S55S first-hand yet, but www.crutchfield.com has it. Crutchfield.com also has the 'F85.

John, let me add that I think you can do well with a Sony player too. I have a Sony DVD changer that is nearly three years old and has never given me a problem.
