This has to be the best cheapie dvd player ever !

I had the oppurtunity to get this dvd player as a backup dvd player for my bedroom, for only 37.99 ! It is the cyberhome 402. I had my doubts when i got it, but this certainly beats anything apex throws out, anyway its a nice backup to my main player. Believe it or not it eliminates the layer pause !

Radio shack has the progressive scan cyberhome for 49 dollars. Tony, I don't know if the one you bought is prog. scan or not, just thought I would pass this on.

No, its not progressive scan. But at this price, hey i dont mind, besides my main dvd player is progressive scan. This is just for my bedroom and the picture quality isnt too bad. This was a radio shack sale some months back.

Tony, it can also be made region free with a hack from the remote control.

How is it that these cheap dvd players can elminate the layer change pause but my $150 brand new Sony player still has a slight pause? I don't get it.

Has anyone here tried the remote control hack for the cyberhome player yet?
