I had a Sony 360 which I really loved... until it refused to read discs. I'm leery of replacing it with another Sony (I'm reading good stuff about Sony's DVP-NS715P, but one review mentioned their Sony 363 not lasting long and I really don't want to buy a disposable unit again).
For the last year I've been watching movies only on my laptop and I really miss using a larger screen. Unfortunately I don't have much money to burn right now. Any suggestions?
I've seen the Panasonic RP62's specs, but I'm not a real fan of Panasonic's design. Any other suggestions?
I don't need features like Zoom or anything frilly. Good audio/video, more than just RCA outs, progressive scan (in case I win the lottery and can get a better tv), remote design/functionality are all I really care about. Well, I'd like DVD-Audio, but doubt there's anything in my budget with that feature. I guess I could go as high as $199

I can eat Ramen Noodles an extra six months
Any recommendations are much appreciated.
