DVD/VCR Combo Players, who's using them and how are they??
I want to use this for the bedroom, (the wife wants it). But my problem is that I have a ton of S-VHS recorded tapes of movies and cartoons, therefore, a regular DVD/VHS combo player just won't cut it. Right now I have the JVC 3500 in the bedroom, so moving it to the den is definetly not a problem since it's hooked up to the wife's stereo. Anyway the two players in particular I am looking at are as follows, one is the JVC HR-XVC20U and second the Toshiba SDV390. Both have Quasi S-VHS Playback. The question is if you have one of these players or similar, hows the built quality, performance, and is 179.99 for the JVC and 199.99 for the Toshiba too much?
