Alternative Chat program with webcam support?

I chat with many people on MSN and unfortunately for the Mac there's really not that much webcam support for MSN for the Mac. I tried alternative programs like Adium, but that does not allow you to use a webcam, and now I've tried Mercury, which is allowing me to send my webcam, but not view the other persons cam. And also I've tried aMSN, which allows me to view their webcam, but not send mine. Are there any others that work good, or does anyone know how to configure Mercury or aMSN ? Thanks!

Mike,

Off the top of my head, no, there isn't any other free chat programs
made for Mac that supports webcam.

Any chance in talking those friends into signing up with a free AOL
chat client? There's many universal clients they could use that
support MSN and AOL (Trillian is one) and that would allow everyone
to have access with each other.

I'm trying to get them to use AOL so we'll see... I'd be interested in finally trying out Ichat. Hopefully the next update for Adium will offer webcam support, it's a great program but it sucks to have to use 3 or 4 different ones to chat with people for different purposes

Mike,

People have been screaming at Adium for a long time to include
webcam support and it has fallen on deaf ears.

Either Adium can't incorporate it, isn't interested, or by miracle
of chance will offer it at some point.

Skype works well and I've used it to video chat to people using Skype on a PC. As far as I know though, it doesn't support non-Skype users though.

Miracle? They are probably working on it right now. Have they given you signs to believe otherwise?

You have to also click your little webcam button to send yours separately from accepting the invitation to view theirs. aMSN will work for two-way video.

It's a little buggy (though apparently the new version is better), but it does work.

Sure have!

Go to a site like MacUpdate that gives you a history of ADIUM and
you'll find that people have been screaming for webcam support for
a long time and to this day have not gotten it.

ADIUM is not a new software to the market.
