Anyone run a security camera system?

I found this info: SecuritySpy

But there are quite a variety of cameras available, some wireless, some RJ45, everything from DLink to Trendnet.

Suggestion or experiences?

Re: Anyone run a security camera system?

I've been using the EvoCam software for a few years now and have been very satisfied with it. At 25 bucks, it's considerably cheaper than the SecuritySpy software and it can be downloaded and run for 15 days before the demo expires. I installed EvoCam on my primary machine at the office and use the iSight camera as well as a second webcam to provide multiple angle views of my entire workspace. They have provided a very effective deterrent after a few things started disappearing at nights and weekends from my desk. Not only does it allow multiple cameras, but it has pretty cool software-based motion sensing so that recordings are only triggered when something passes within the camera frame.
