Spotlight help...files not being found
Perhaps I'm doing things I haven't before, but I'm finding odd gaps in Spotlight in Leopard that I didn't notice in Tiger. I've been seeing this a lot: Spotlight's results vary greatly depending on what folder level I specify.
For instance, I'm looking for: User/Personal/Christmas/ChristmasList.xls
Search for "Christmas" at "User" level and it finds the directory but not the file. Do the search within "Personal" and it finds the file.
Effectively, I need to know where the file is located to do a search that will succeed.to search for it to find it. If I knew where to look, I wouldn't need to search.
Is there a way to tell Spotlight to "dig deeper" in search results? Any Spotlight tricks to get better results?
