Airport Extreme

Anyone using the new Draft N Airport Extreme? I'm likely going to pick on up in a couple of weeks as the NAS component could help solve some issues I have sharing my iTunes library etc.

Re: Airport Extreme

While I've not used it, I found ArsTechnica's Review very helpful in understanding its strengths and weaknesses and general uses.

And TUAW showed how to share iTunes library from a hard-drive connected to the Airport Extreme. Perhaps, that relates to what you're doing.

Re: Airport Extreme

It's working fine for me. I am looking forward to adding Apple TV to the mix and streaming video to my TV upstairs.

I've already had success sharing iTunes and DVD Video folders (accessed via the utility Matinee). I have yet to attempt streaming of 1080i .ts files, but will do so soon.
