This week Ken McAlinden reviews Albert Lewin's MGM adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, a highly awaited release that gets notable recommendation. Todd Erwin gives us two reviews of the recent "Indie" releases, Harold, starring Spencer Breslin -and- Dororo, a live-action comic book adaptation directed by Akihko Shiota. It's not the first time. They had salmonella in the eggs a few years ago. I used to like it, but I don't eat it any more.

It looks good on them. These companies rushed to take advantage of the people in a country without labour laws, or proper safety regulations of any kind. Now it is coming back to bite them on the ass. I can only hope it hurts their reputation badly. Mmmm....How do we get the Melamine in the Caramilk Bar? Sorry, that's our secret.

Cadbury recalls Chinese-made candy in chemical scare - CNN.com

Some or all of the products were exported to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, the Pacific island of Nauru and Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean, according to the company.

The chocolate containing melamine does not appear to have been sold in either the UK or USA.

BTW Most Cadbury chocolate sold in the USA is made under license by Hershey. Sometimes you will find Cadbury products made elsewhere in places like World Market.

The candy in the article is not made by Cadbury. The Cadbury recall was the subject of this thread.

There could be other products containing contaminated milk from China being sold in the US, however.
