I'm cheering for the Giants. The only team in the league that I actively cheer for is the Colts, and only team that I cheer against is the Patriots.

Re: Superbowl 42. Play for Today.

For the record, I'm a Steelers fan... anyway... I'm reluctantly cheering for the Pats. I can't stand the Pats, Brady, or Belicheck. However, the historical nature of an undefeated season has me hoping the Pats win. Besides, the Giants are just so blah. There is nothing about that team that does now, or ever has, excited me. To me, they are the most generic team in the NFL.

I was really hoping to see the Packers beat the Giants as I would have liked to see Favre potentially end his career by knocking off the undefeated Patriots. Oh well.

Great win for the Giants. That's gotta suck for the Patriots after going 18-0. Ouch.

Re: Superbowl 42. Play for Today.

I like the Patriots better than the Giants, but my money was on the Giants. I figured they'd beat the spread. While I didn't expect them to win outright, New York seemed like a good betting value at 3.5 to 1, so I got some of that, too.

As a result, I was on both sides of the fence today, just hoping NE wouldn't win in a blowout.

Congratulations to the Giant$!

While I was a Dallas fan when I was a kid, I haven't kept up with pro football enough in the past 20 years to call myself a current fan of any team. With that being said, I was glad to see Belichick & Company lose. Cheating has no place in sports.

While I'm not what you would call a sports fan by any stretch of the imagination, I was raised in a Giants household, so I'm a Giants fan until the end.

We've all heard the speculation for weeks: There was NO WAY the Giants were gonna beat Dallas. There was ABSOLUTELY no way the Giants were gonna beat the Packers in Green Bay under subzero conditions. And of co
