This is sad news for beer lovers. Jackson is THE advocate for great beer everywhere and the volume of work that he wrote speaks highly of how he devoted his life for his love of the drink.
May he rest in peace and he will be missed. I am toasting a Chimay Blue and a Celebrator Doppelbock in his honor tonight.

Each time I drink one of the 500 beers listed in his Great Beer Guide, I mark it off, hopefully one day I will have tried them all.
