Mummified Baby Found! --- IN FLORIDA
What a bizarre story. A woman found a mummified baby wrapped in 1950's newspapers in a storage unit that her parents owned. Her parents had died and she was cleaning out the storage unit to get things ready to auction. I wonder how much the mummified baby would have gone for?
The woman is now wondering if this could be a sibling. Cue Twilight Zone music!

Dayam, that sounds like the beginning of a straight-to-DVD movie. Pretty spooky!

That poor woman! With the parents dead, imagine all the thoughts going through her head? To find out (after their death) that your parents did such a thing? That's gotta be screwing with her head.

I can hear Stephen King sharpening his pencils...
It sounds like Chapter 1 of a King novel.
There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Or an episode of Cold Case? Which I don't usually watch, but ironically last night I did (got hooked by the opening), and to add more irony the episode also involved a 1950s incident (though not a baby).

Germany or Florida is a game that originated at Jimmy Kimmel Live with the staff of writers who discovered a correlation in the news stories they would read for joke material. Adam observed that "All weird stories emanate from either Germany or Florida." Originally intended as a game to be used on Kimmel's show, it was rejected and Adam decided to bring it to Loveline. The object of the game is to have a listener read off a strange, macabre, or just plain weird news story and have the hosts (and guests) choose Germany or Florida. First mentioned October 19, 2003. According to some listeners' best guesses, Adam is about 55% correct, and Dr. Drew is about 40%. Theme songs introducing the game have been created by guests and callers, most notably David Alan Grier's opera and beat-box renditions. [6] Carolla even brought the game with him when he guest hosted The Late Late Show in 2004 and on his short-lived Comedy Central show Too Late with Adam Carolla. Additionally, the game has been played on Carolla's morning show, The Adam Carolla Show.

I love Germany or Florida. I also loved Ace's Ranchero Mexican Accordian Countdown. I wish Adam was still on LoveLines. A week after he left the show, the local affiliate dropped the feed because Dr. Drew by himself couldn't keep people tuned in around here.
Anywho.... back to the topic at hand. Very strange indeed.
