The San Francisco Opera Company is debuting the Opera "Doctor Atomic" about the Atomic Bomb.

The Best thing is the libertto was done by Peter Sellars......which comes Awfully close to Peter Sellers who played 3 roles in Dr Strangelove.
Now I am waiting for the Fat Lady....or is it Little Boy?

Kidding aside, could be interesting given that the music was written John Adams who is, to put it mildly, one of our more interesting modern composers. I've heard of Sellars' work as a producer and director of theater and opera, especially modern works, but not aware of his work as a librettist.
