Need help with Quicken 2005 (budgets)
I just got the program and have been dabbling in it for a little while but wondered if any seasoned pro's can tell me if the following scenario is possible.
If we want to budget say $1000 a month and divide that budget into sections say for example, $100= Entertainment, $200=food, $100=clothes...and so on).
Can we input that breakdown into a budget in Quicken and have it keep track of each of those sections...in other words if I spent $20 on food today, could I input it into the Quicken budget system and then Quicken calculates that I only have $180 left to spend this month on food??
Does this scenario make sense?
Can it be done with Q2005?
