College Sports

I know a lot of you watch Football and mens basketball but does anyone watch the other sports at their schools? I am amazed at how many diffrent sports the University of Florida are ranked in as far as Women and Men. Their Golf,Tennis,Swim, track, baseball, gymnatsics and softball teams are always very competitive.

I'll watch some college hockey. Both Michigan and Michigan State usually have good teams. The CCHA is very competitive, and the Frozen Four is usually very entertaining.

Of course, being from Florida, John is thinking to himself.. "what is hockey?"

I agree...Very NicE!

UNC is usually ranked very high in Mens and Womens Soccer, Cross Country and the like, Womens Tennis is ranked, Volleyball and Softball are more of West Coast sports.

And Arizona (ASU and UofA) OWN Softball and Golf!

But yep.

We have 4 area schools and I tend to follow them like this:

At Oklahoma its all about Football and then there is the bastard child basketball. Recently Baseball has been going well and Women's college Basketball has been going well for the Women

At OSU which I only follow for the wife, Golf and Wrestling are HUGE. The names Kenny Monday and John Smith should register a bell to those who followed the sport and they also won gold medals. Baseball is on the downslide for them lately. They were a powerhouse for many years.

At Tulsa, Basketball and Football are rather popular but
Tennis is growing and they have a good golf team. Their Men's Soccer is good too I hear.

At ORU(Oral Roberts), Basketball is usually the king but Baseball is a growing sport for them.
