I took waaaay too much math in high school and college to go anywhere near those things, and mostly just get annoyed when someone in front of me at the convenience store is mulling over their lottery crap while my soda is getting warm.

Jay's Movie Blog - A movie-viewing diary.
Transplanted Life: Sci-fi soap opera about a man placed in a new body, updated two or three times a week.
Trading Post Inn - Another gender-bending soap, with different collaborators writing different points of view.

"What? Since when was this an energy ball movie?" - Overheard during a screening of Takashi Miike's Dead Or Alive
"What the hell religion are you people?" - Overheard during the Captain Marvel serial at SF/29
"If I feel even one bullet hit me, I will rip your lungs out through your nostrils!" - Ron Silver as himself, "Heat Vision And Jack"

10 dollars. My luck sucks, so I was surprised to get that much.

My DVD Collection
I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blind, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the Devil's eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil! - Dr Sam Loomis(Halloween)

Damn you Mop N Glo! - Stewie (Family Guy)

I once won 3 Free Tickets in a row, it was a ten minute span of "Hey, I'm back. I got a free ticket!"

$1,000

Up until then, the most I'd ever won on a single ticket was $50.

$40. But I win $1 price-of-the-ticket all the time.

My GF won $500 (maximum amount for that particular game) on a ticket she bought by accident (her 2 year old neice was pushing buttons on a vending machine!).

"Did you know that more people are murdered at 92 degrees Fahrenheit than any other temperature? I read an article once. Lower temperatures, people are easy-going, over 92 and it's too hot to move, but just 92, people get irritable."

Malcolm, so do you still play em thinking the next $1k is around the corner ?

Its sort of a popular Xmas stocking stuffer gift in my circles...no one ever wins much though !

A new life awaits you in the off-world colonies, the chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure.

Let's Go . . . To the colonies !
