Speaking of bicycles

Forget all the SUVs vrs sedans, hybrids vrs Hydrogen cells, it's time for:

National Bike to Work week... May 17-May 21. Never mind that some people don't need a bike to work week to enjoy biking to work, but for the other people:

I'm always out of town during bike to work week. Luckily, I'm usually staying in a hotel that's walking distance from where I need to be.

Let's see. 55 miles one way to work, so 110 miles every day for 4 days. I am at work by 6:00AM so to be safe I would have to leave the house at 2:30AM. I leave work at 5:30PM so I would get home around 9:00PM. In bed by 10 gives me 4 hours of sleep a night.

I think I'll stick with the provided bus transportation or carpooling, thanks

I’m with Jay in spirit even though I drive now.

But I’ve been able to walk many times and commuted by bicycle for about eight years during one period.

My favorite public transport is definitely the Sydney Harbor ferries.

I live 18 miles from the closest public rail.

Philip, you should get like a Bike Friday or some kind of folding bike and bike to the train!
