Datingwithoutties.com Anyone heard of this?
I got an email from this site asking me if I want to go on a blind date. This is so weird. The email gave me the option to accept the date, or not be asked again. If you go the web page, it asks for an email address to submit.
The link in the email went to a confirmation page and had a number attached. I didn't click on it.
Whoever this is already has my email address, so I entered my own address to see what happened, and I never got an email inviting me on a blind date with myself.
Is this some sort of scam?

Probably spam.. but go on the date and check it out
then come back with a full report! Could be interesting if they set you up with a woman.

Oh, would SHE be surprised! For one thing, she'd be all jealous of how much better MY eyebrows look...

I thought the same thing Rob.
My DVD Collection
I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blind, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the Devil's eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil! - Dr Sam Loomis(Halloween)

The idea is: to confirm an e-mail address.
Some of those scams are there to collect live e-mail addresses (like having to fill in an IQ test and then fill in your e-mail address to get the results).
Others, like yours, are sent massively and try to get a reply ("unsuscribe", "go to this web page" (with a code number in it!), etc.
Lists of e-mail addresses checked to be alive are much more value to sell than other bulk lists.

Am I the only one who thought this was a dating service for people with "outtie" belly buttons when they first looked at the topic? Okay, I'm weird

I must be weird too
Actually after I thought that, I then though it was "dating without ties". I just kept thinking, do people actually wear ties on dates anymore? Well perhaps they do, but certainly not in my circle.

Count me as another victim of "incorrect parsing of ambiguous multi-word URL"...
The only question I had is whether or not people with "innies" would be allowed to join.
