Compliement from a stranger

For the last 2 years, I ve been working out at my collage Gym. While I have been eating right where it counts, I not "offically" on a diet. Anyway, everybody including my parents, my friends, and my co-workers have been telling me that I've been losing weight. Unfortuanlly, I still cant see anything.

On Tues, I was at the gym, standing next to footlockers trying to decided what I wanted to do next, when a another member came up to me and told me that I really lost weight. Needless to say, I thank him and continued my workout. I felt really surprised that he would say that, so I guess it must be true!!

I guess I must keep working out!!

Psychologically, you are usually the last person to notice. It doesn't help that you see yourself all day long while other people only see you every now and then. The change is more dramatic for them.

Keep up the good work!

i would think that the opposite is true. while you may be around yourself more than others, you only actually see yourself when you look in the mirror, other people see you whenever you are around them.

And then when I feel so stuffed I can't eat anymore, I just use the restroom! And then I CAN eat more!

christ, i believe what was implied was that weight loss isn't a sudden thing. if you see yourself every day you might not notice it. if someone hadn't seen you in a while they would be more likely to notice.
regardless, congratulations scott

I have also lost quite a bit of weight in the past year(40 pounds). I got up to 240 for a while but usually I was around 220. Anyway, I used to tell people what my weight was and they were suprised I weighed so much. Most thought I weighed around 200 pounds. Now I actually weigh 200 pounds and every one guesses I weigh 220.

The man I loved - the man who vanished - he never came back at all. But maybe he's still out there, somewhere. Maybe some day, when Gotham no longer needs Batman, I'll see him again.
