Yes it's from the 2002 MTV Movie Awards. It's also an easter egg on the extended edition Fellowship DVD.

For the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, Gollum won "best digital character" and his acceptance speech was hilarious. That's also an easter egg on the extended edition Two Towers DVD.
