Restaurants in San Diego??
Hello all. I'm leaving for San Diego at 8:30 tommorrow morning for a business conference. I thought I would have time to do my usual thorough research of the local establishments, but I've run out of time. It doesn't help that Zagat's is now a pay site (booo!).
Anyway, I'd like to know what some some of your favorite eateries are in the downtown area. I'm staying at the Manchester Hyatt, which I believe is adjacent to the Gaslamp District. The closer to that area, the better. As they say, "Do it right or don't bother doing it." I want to make sure I've done it right, because I don't get out to the west coast that often. The type of cuisine doesn't matter. I'd just like to know any places that might fall under the "You haven't been to San Diego if you haven't been to xxxxx" category.
