A cosmic sweet letter

A little background: I was in a crappy mood.
For some reason I tend to Play The Who's Quadrophenia a lot when I am pissed off. Well I had it cranked but I heard the mail slot open anyway. I found this note on my floor instead of bills. For those of you who don't know Haight Ashbury, it tends to pull in people who don't always walk in step with convention. It cheered me up and got me out of my Quadrophenia funk, it's a little scattered but you'll get the idea. Here it is with a few comments by me:
Hi!
My name is Amy. As I was walking by the red truck (Mine) out front I noticed the bumber sticker- Tupelo Mississippi and being from there I stopped at the corner head shop earlier and read the article on Neil Young's new Album "On the Beach" - he was saying about how you can cook bad pot on the stove and mix it with honey and the next thing you know....Needless to say I've got a bad bunch of pot so I've found my solution!

Anyways- I was drawn in so I walked up the steps and the music started playing. (Me cranking Quadrophenia) Well Im absolutely amazed and quite fabulously taken by the sounds of your beautiful voice (well I wish I could sing like Roger Daltry ) and the instruments like the bells chiming everlasting cries of rain in my head that I want to say thank you from the bottom to the top of my heart, spirit and soul.
You have completely inspired my pulse and I can't believe you were just around the corner,I just want to play music. I have an electric guitar, a real gold beauty! You have filled completely filled my life with love today
So thank you very much
Love Always

Sounds like the writer had been using a little too much of her special concoction.

Yeah but you always hear about chance encounters that are nasty or negative, those are the ones that feed the news world. You don't hear much about nice things kids do, just the drive by shootings and stuff.
Who knows, maybe someday when she puts out her Quadrophenia tribute album I can say in a strange way I truly inspired this creation by being pissed off.
If not, that's cool too

It's great to live so close but a HUGE temptation, I could drop $1000s every time I go there

Anyone else as confused as I am? If I got a letter like that I wouldn't know whether to be paranoid or scurrd.

On the other hand if this "Amy" character isn't a 54 yr old fat guy I may try to sue her to give me a reason to get to know her a little better.

Sure it's a little nonlinear but hey that's what gives it charm.
In our window we have some antique Seltzer bottles. One day my wife opens the door and there's a 20ish guy holding another seltzer bottle. He just thought his bottle would look good in our window and gave it to us; never saw him again. It was a nice thing to do with no strings attached.
The 'summer of love' and the 'flowers in the hair' might have faded away but the spirit lives on.

Since we have a lot of street traffic and many people asking for money, I have a front door camera inputed in my system.
Amy was not a

She did leave her phone number which I would of called if I was single, but I'm not.
I am confused, why would you want to sue her?!?!
She was just being nice

Or it was their subtle way of saying, "Turn down your stereo."

"My name is Luka, I live on the second floor"

Oh shoot, is this the 80's lyrics thread?

Actually, reminds me of being a freshman living in a freshman dorm, kind of like just hang out with the door open and wait for other frosh to filter in.. Met a lot of people that way!
