Who is this artist/painter??

Ok last night I saw the new Linkin Park video on MTV2 Called Somewhere I Belong........

When I was younger I was absolutely fascinated with this certain painter. Didnt know the name or even what TYPE of painting it is. But i have loved it since i was in 8th grade....

I see it on the video! They actually turn the painting "into the video", or turn the video "into the painting" Very odd but fricking awesome!!
