I am using the receiver that connects to the TV as well as the cable box to receive the video and audio.

Thanks Martino for the information because I rather not have to spend more money on another receiver. Yet, I am thinking about getting a refurbished Onkyo 605 through eCost that has all the new audio formats for HDTV and Blu-Ray. I think the new receiver would be easier to use than the one I have now, but it's an option that I can take into consideration if I do not want to go that route.
