We already had
"someone" taking the
"price hit" to entice the 'masses' into the Hi-Def camp.
That
"someone" happened to be a Multinational corporation by the name of Toshiba. (an ideal arrangement for consumers that couldn't have been any sweeter if you ask me)
But that’s all history now, a very sad history indeed.
Personally, I’ve already jumped off the "early adopter bandwagon" and yielded my position to brighter minds, this days I’m content with my 10 year old perfectly acceptable SD-DVD purchase routine and will suffer miserably in reclusion with my up-converting player without “Lossless” audio until who knows when.
