You're going backwards!
. You started with the best of your options. Real speakers (Polk A3/A6). Then smaller plastic cube type (some are O.K. Bose is over-priced and has sonic issues-do a forum search), then in-walls which can sound decent but limit placement options among other things, then went to in-ceiling which is a real bad idea, especially for fronts. Try and go with the Polk's. If smaller is the only option then also consider Def Tech and Paradigm. But you can do better than Bose.
