As I mentioned in D. Moritz's thread, my Pioneer Elite 59TXi also does BM plus bass/treble and MCACC room correction thru the analog in's as well as thru i-link. But Stream Direct is available to keep the purists happy
. And as you mentioned, it was pricey when new.
