Funny line from James tonight after Jason struck his deal.
"And I thought I was the dumbest Survivor ever."
But, honestly, I cannot believe the pack mentality (peer pressure) that went on when the group all decided to flat-out lie to Jason that they would "guarantee" they would not vote him off if he threw the immunity challenge and shared the food with them. Shameful. Just an awful display. How infantile to "cross their fingers" to make the lie okay.
I don't know if anyone else will care...but it sure struck me as an awful piece of gameplay.
Equally as bad a piece of gameplay was his decision to go along with their plan. NOT because he should have figured they were all lying to him, but because what benefit did he have of agreeing when compared with the obvious benefit of winning immunity to survive another few days?
