but, did they just bring back the same actor or was he intentionally Donna's Grandfather all along?

or did they make him Donna's Grandfather after, the death of the actor that played Donna's father?

I watched confidental and I took it as bringing the same actor back and then saying he was Donna's grandfather. But NEVER ORIGINALLY Donna's Grandfather.

I forgot I had Voyage of the Damned on dvd, and I checked the characters name, Wilfred Mott.
Which is the same character name from Partners in Crime.
So it looks like they made him Donna's Grandfather after the fact and not originally intended.
