I'm sure the aspect ratio is not correct which is the reason I experimented with zooming the image and seeing that nothing (not even the opening credits) was compromised. I'm assuming Paramount is issuing this full frame for the same reason so many family friendly movies get that treatment - appealing to the lowest common denominator of home viewing equipment: a 4:3 television.
