the OnkyoHT-SR800 $420 shipped from Vanns.com. HDMI switching, Audyssey 2EQ, decent receiver, tolerable speakers, 230 watt sub (O.K. not an SVS but not bad for the price). It's a 7.1 but you don't have to hook up the rear surrounds. Has to be better than the Sony.
