You must have pretty good sound onthe TV...most sets don't have sound anywhere near the quality of the amps/speakers/whatever.

Anyway, what order do you see and hear the problem?

is it: TV picture - TV sound - audio system sound
or: TV picutre - audio system - TV audio

does the TV picture match either the audio system or TV sound? Do you have sound from the cable box, through the receiver, then into the TV? or does the TV get both picture and sound straight from the cable box?

And, let us know what TV and what receiver.
