(Downstairs)
Denon 3808CI
Wireless desktop (running XP) positioned next to Denon 3808CI. I have access to the internet via this wireless desktop. Both the Denon and the wireless desktop have available ethernet ports.
I have not tried this solution yet but I plan on connecting the Denon to the wireless desktop using a crossover cable and allowing connection to the internet via the wireless PC.
The reason I like this approach is because I can use my existing equipment. Am I on the right track or is there a better solution out there that won't cost a lot?

One thought, there are some more 'networking' oriented solutions that you can look at to connect a wired device (the Denon) to your wireless netowork. I think some of the major network vendors (Linksys, D-Link, Netgear) make a wireless bridge, which looks like an access point, with an antenna and an ethernet port. Connect the bridge to your wireless LAN and connect the Denon to the bridge. What is basically allows you to do is connect a range of wired devices to a wireless LAN.
I'm not sure whether the crossover cable will work, I may have thought that crossovers allowed you to connect two pcs, not provide internet access.
There may yet be other ways to do this.
