I had an Alpine H/U which currently resides in my Wife's xB. I was very impressed with the sound when I had it installed in my Si with factory speakers.

Check your user manual for the EQ settings. Alpine has a few proprietary settings that will definitely help out your speakers (besides the basic bass and treble).
