Hard to believe "Atonement" was nominated for BP if the acting and directing apparently weren't worthy.

Very disappointed that "Hairspray" was completely shut out while the pap from "Enchanted" is clogging up 3 of 5 best song noms.
Most of the "Hairspray" songs were ineligible, but there were a couple of new songs written for the film ("Ladies Choice," "Come So Far (Got So Far To Go)") that were superior to anything in "Enchanted" (which, if I hadn't seen it for free, might have been the first film I ever tried to get a refund on).
