Its not a screw up, you are misunderstanding the fundamental POINT of IMAP versus POP3. IMAP is designed from the start to synchronize accross all devices. Well my previous POP3 account did get switched to IMAP and yes it was confusing (and I think a bit of a screw-up

). I am trying to decide if I am going to keep the IMAP functionality. I understand its benefits, but my mobile e-mail workflow is similar to Ron's and POP3 works well.
