I am tired of ultracompacts that only have "on" and "off" flash settings. I want something with a fill flash, like SLRs used to have, which adds a bit of light but does not overpower the ambient light of the room. For parties where there are colored lights for example, the chances of any of that color remaining with an ultracompact is virtually nil.
