I'm not going to sweat it. I have a watertight storage box on my porch and UPS and FedEX know to put packages in it, but that assumes no sig requirement. If they require a sig and leave a doortag, I'll have the housesitter call and have them hold the package until I get back.
It'll work out one way or another.
