I can attest to that. I lost my wallet and went through hours of hell on the phone with my credit card company (the idiots at WaMu canceled the one credit card that I still had, in spite of my making a really big deal about it being my only saving grace!)

So, I ended up getting to the party just shortly before it was supposed to end. I asked someone if I missed much of anything aside from the obvious partying. He said that there had been h'orderves. I was a bit disappointed that I'd missed them, since I was penniless (actually, I had about 65 cents) and they would possibly be my only dinner for the evening. A bit later, I found a few cold (but tasty) tiny burgers (Whatever they're called. Forgive my ignorance).

Almost as an afterthought, he mentioned that they'd given out a bag with about five Blu-Ray discs in it. He pointed out the area where the bags were and I got one, after giving the necessary ID (glad they didn't ask for a driver's license), along with a manila envelope that the attractive young woman gave me (as she gave me the envelope, she said something about it possibly making up for my missing wallet). Of course, it turned out that there were actually 10 discs in the bag.

I didn't open the envelope until a half an hour or so later. Wow! What a surprise! I was wondering what to do about having 10 discs and nothing to play them on! Kind of made up for losing my wallet, though I was still stuck with no money and no gas in my tank (my car's tank, that is). I was able to fill up my personal tank at a few events that happened later that evening.

Fortunately, I was able to get money the next day (though WaMu certainly made it more difficult than necessary) and made it home. Whew! Side note: I've now replaced all of my lost cards.

Thank you Sony and everyone else who's responsible for such a generous gift. Also, thanks to all involved for the entire show! It was an interesting experience and well worth the loss of a money-loaded (if you call $85 loaded) wallet.
