I was still a little groggy during Nickerson's presentation, but my impression from that and the panel discussion is that they hope that the interactive features will be attractive to consumers half my age. I just got a new digital camera and the prospect of learning all of its features is a bit daunting for me!
As far as DVDs are concerned, my top priority will always be the picture and sound of the feature. Some extras are outstanding but some leave me cold. I'm not sure that I would use most of the interactive features. The one which impressed me the most is the ability to watch commentary-related video side-by-side with the feature.
I still have to write up day two!
