I think thats something your going to have to try to see how well the receiver drives them. My Denon 4806 drives my Senn HD600's well, but not my AKG-701's. You could always purchase a headphone amp if your not satisfied with how they sound. A headphone amp is really going to bring out the most in your headphones anyway.
