I just got a new one myself. I am very happy with it however the FM transmitters in all the new Sat Equipment have been downgraded. They had to weaken their signal in the head units.

If your brother does have a newer head unit in his car then he can hook it up several different ways. I am curretnly using the mp3 set up and the sound is fantastic.
