Re: "Flushed Away" (Aardman's New CGI Animated Film)
I was wondering for a while why they did this on CGI instead of Claymation... and I read in a few places that they decided it would be too hard (ie expensive) to do all the water effects with plasticine characters. It would have probably had to be a hybrid of stop motion and CGI, so they just went all CGI. Probably gives the movie a more unified look anyway, and the characters still have the classic Aardman look to them.
I'm excited about this one, too.
