I have a Directv+ DVR and would like to archive to my computer with a DVD Burner. First, is this the best idea or would it be better to buy a DVD player/recorder to hook directly to the DVR and TV? Second, If I go to the computer with this, Do I just use an audio and a video connection right to my computer?

Any help is appreciated.
