Great thread. I'll definately save my money until this issue is resolved. I absolutely agree that the sound is equally as important as the picture. Especially on a really good horror film like this. They originally did a hell of a great job on sound effects for TCM. It freaks me out for that alone. Heck, I could just sit and listen to the sound and get freaked out by TCM.
I have the same one pictured above with the chainsaw edge across the front. I've always been happy with it. But the new one looks so sweet I"m dying to watch it that way. But..I shall wait longer...
