with the different versions of HDMI, i think i should wait a few years before things settle down and all manufacturers have a standard to follow, so for now, no, HDMI is not a necessity.

the rotel 1056 was sold. he wouldnt budge from 700 anyways.

i did think about the outlaw, its a lil out of my budget though.
