The last time I looked at Hitachis' LCD RPTVs' was last year and my first observation was how dark they were. Not even comparing them to other Microdisplays (that are too bright), but just overall it was dark. Even after I tried to tweak it, it still looked terrible. Too bad, 15 years ago their Ultravision was one of the best.
Can't believe Hitachi thinks these will sell.
